Helicon Asselronde
The beautiful course around Apeldoorn has for years been known as one of the most challenging races in the Netherlands. Participants run through the beautiful wooded surroundings of Apeldoorn, Hoog Soeren and Assel. Start point and finish line are in the ‘Royal’ Loolaan.

Information on registration
If you have registered and paid before January 22 2012 information will be sent to you by mail. Participants will receive a confirmation letter. Participants living outside of the Netherlands, will receive their chip (if ordered) together with the racenumber when showing this confirmation letter at the desk in Schouwburg Orpheus on the day of the run.
Dressing Rooms
The Helicon Opleidingen dressing rooms in the Loolaan are available for runners of the Helicon Asselronde. The dressing rooms for ladies are in the Heuvellaan School (Burglaan). Follow the sign-posts. Masseurs will be there after the race.
Results
The results of the marathon will appear on the website www.midwintermarathon.nl on February 5, 2012 from 19.00 hours.
Prize money
For men prizes are awarded for the first 10 finishers. For women for the first 5 finishers.
Memento
All runners who finish the Helicon Asselronde receive the special Midwinter Marathon Memento.
Refreshments posts
There are refreshment posts every 5 kilometres along the marathon route, providing water, tea and fruit. At the finish sports drinks and tea are handed out.
Medical care
Medical care is available at the start and finish line as well as along the route. A Red Cross post is on every 5 kilometre point.
