In recent months we have made plans to let runners experience three days of running pleasure again. But, COVID-19 is thwarting these plans for the second time. The Centraal Beheer Midwinter Marathon in the first weekend of February has been cancelled. After intensive consultation with the municipality of Apeldoorn and the Safety Region about the necessary COVID-19 measures, the board of the Marathon Apeldoorn Foundation had to conclude, with sorrow, that organizing a full-fledged three-day running event, with approximately 14,500 participants, can not be justified. This means that the Night Run on Friday evening, the Kroondomein Het Loo Marathon on Saturday and all distances on Sunday have been cancelled.

Especially on the trails of the Trail, Mini-Marathon and Asselronde you have a good chance that you can enjoy a beautiful white environment, because the trail is a little higher and the trees keep the sun rays down so that the snow stays there for a long time.
